Big Horn Mountain Roundup - Celebrating 60 Years July 23rd - 27th, 2025

The Big Horn Mountain Roundup (known locally as "The Trail Ride" is an annual event in the mountains west of Buffalo and Sheridan, Wyoming.
The Roundup will be Celebrating 60 Years in July 2025.
Attendance is by invitation from members of the Board of Directors, and guests come from the local area as well as all over the world to attend.
This is a Men Only Ride.
Events begin on Wednesday evening, usually the last full weekend in July. The campsite is selected to be central to the three days' rides. Rides are usually 12-15 miles per day, through the scenic Big Horn Mountains. Each day during the ride there are breaks with drinks and snacks provided as well as a lunch break, food and drinks provided.
Camping is in personal tents. All horses are picketed at night on a high line.

Basic horsemanship skills are recommended for the mountain trails. Most riders bring their own mounts, but horse and mule rentals are available from a local outfitter, prior reservation preferred.
Veterinarians, wranglers, and a farrier are available for assistance, as necessary.
Evening entertainment includes live music from local musicians, before and after dinner in the Bar Tent.
The Ride concludes with breakfast, Sunday morning.
